Thank you for your interest in joining our team! We're a collective of friendly, talented, and down-to-earth independent hair professionals. We work together to support each other's growth, all while running our businesses with a lack of drama. We believe in building a space where everyone is encouraged to learn, grow, and march to the beat of their own drum with living their own lives. If this sounds like the kind of environment you're looking for, please read on.

As an independent professional, you’ll be a valued shop roommate in our respectful establishment, running your own business with full autonomy. Our space, located next to Broadway Plaza and Kaiser Hospital, is a nearly 1,000-square-foot hair salon and barbershop featuring six stations and two shampoo bowls (with one more of each coming soon!!). While we mainly use and retail R+Co products, we are open to professionals using their preferred product lines. We offer a full range of hair services for men and women and proudly promote barbering in our salon so all can feel accommodated. Our clients enjoy a chill and comfortable space, complimentary refreshments, and exclusive plants and luxury products for sale. We also provide a private break room for our renters to relax away from the common areas.

We have a few options designed to fit your needs:

​

• Full-time rental:  For established stylists and barbers with a solid clientele (4+ days a week).

• Part-time options:  Perfect for those looking to build their weekly schedule (1–3 days a week).

• Transitional rental:  For experienced professionals who want support growing their business.

• Newly licensed options:  A mentorship program for recent school graduates looking to build a foundation for their career as an apprentice.

Fun fact:  Renting with us as an independent professional is actually more affordable than opening your own local studio at Sola, My Salon Suite, or similar locations—especially if you're not ready to invest in your own retail or service supplies.

Most importantly, we all love what we do and the space we've built, and we hope you will too.
